So its day 5 today and after a Sunday full of planning and organising i've realise the main thing i use facebook for is contact with friends. I dont actually have several friends phone numbers ive realised as i only contact them through fb emails or face to face. I am also missing chatting to several friends in sydney, canberra and new zeland (and other countries) who i talk to using the fb chat system.
Further my housemate Kate and I are organising a charity morning tea for domestic violence and invites will be sent out through fb, however I will not be able to invite several of my friends as I cannot access my account. WHich is a shame but we will do our best through other communication means.
I must say on the positive side i am spending more time studying and less time online :)

Day two
Day two is today, the 3rd of June.
Im going ok today so far, however i realise how much i rely on fb in my lectures to keep me awake. My first two lectures on Thursdays are extremely boring and i think my being able to browse fb on my phone kept my brain active as i fell asleep twice today.
Not sure how i am going to go at work tonight on night shift, as again i usually keep in on my phone and check in regularly.
I've been thinking, what did i do before i had internet on my phone...fell asleep in lectures i suppose...

Day One
Day one was the 2nd (yesterday),
I got my housemate kate to change my Facebook Password before she went to work this morning so that i wouldnt be tempted throughout the next 21 days.
I had a very busy day - a full day of uni and then afternoon shift at work- in which i normally would have only checked facebook once or twice.
However i found myself thinking of facebook status updates throughout the day, then feeling silly when i remembered i couldnt log on.

21 days without facebook
Ok, so i am attempting to go 21 days without facebook to raise money for a Charity named Open Family who are having a 21day challenge this month to go without something for 21 days. Open Family are a great charity who provide support and services to homeless youth. Here I will be blogging my experience without my constant companion - Facebook. However if you wanted to donate you can do so at the following link.
